Days 1 - 3
Mlilwane – walk with zebra and antelope
Mlilwane is Eswatini’s oldest protected area and was the first protected area in the Kingdom. Nestled in Eswatini’s “Valley of Heaven” this pioneer conservation area is the perfect place to start your exploration of Eswatini. Walk safely amongst wildlife, where there is no big game, or sip a local Sibebe beer and watch the birdlife. During the day observe nyala antelope walking freely around the camp and in the evening watch warthogs warming themselves by the fire.
Accommodation: traditional style beehive huts which have the feel of traditional Swazi homesteads with grass dome-shaped huts arranged in semi-circles all semi-enclosed by traditional Swazi kraal fencing.
Days 4 - 5
Mkhaya - the ultimate Big Game safari
Discover the award-winning Mkhaya Game Reserve home to the elusive black rhino, the curious white rhino and the unpredictable buffalo. This is a unique and memorable experience from safari to your accommodation. Travel within the reserve in open Land Rovers or track wildlife and spot birds on foot. Days 6 - 8
Hlane - rhino and elephant on your doorstep
In the vast savannah where the hot sun beats down on the earth lies Eswatini’s largest protected area, Hlane Royal National Park. Hlane is home to the largest herds of game in the Kingdom, such as impala, nyala and waterbuck, as well as Big Game species such as lion, elephant, and rhino. Spend time at Ndlovu waterhole watching white rhino wallow in the mud or doze in the sun in small groups. At night, go to sleep to the distant roar of lion.
Accommodation: Ndlovu Camp has delightful en-suite rondavels near to the water hole. These twin rooms are beautifully designed and set in the bush where impala are often seen wandering by.
Days 9 - 11
Foresters Arms - a haven in the mountains
Glorious Foresters Arms is a place of great character and charm. It is wonderfully situated on its own estate in the mountainous region of Eswatini. The boutique hotel is in extensive gardens which are rich in native flowers and trees. With many Eswatini attractions and experiences nearby, take in a visit to Ngwenya mine, Ngwenya glass factory and magical Malolotja Nature Reserve, to enjoy spectacular scenery.
