Days 1 - 2
Delhi - immerse into city life
Explore Delhi with your city expert. This experience can be customized depending on your interests. There are forts, palaces, old market places, museums and art galleries. Visit the Kingdom of Dreams for a Bollywood style theatre followed by dinner. A 10-minute walk from Khan Market and Lodi Gardins, the hotel enjoys a very central, yet peaceful location. Days 3 - 4
Chambal Safari Lodge - river safaris
Catch a morning train and reach your lodge before lunch. In the heart of the Chambal Valley, lies an oasis of tranquility nestling in sprawling acres of reclaimed woodland. Spend time here birding with the lodge naturalist around the property or exploring the surrounding farmland in a jeep. Take a boat safari on the Chambal River to see the endemic Gharial crocodile, freshwater ‘mugger’ crocodile, Gangetic river dolphin, Indian skimmers and many other riverine birds. This land will mesmerise you.

Day 5
ITC Mughal - the iconic Taj Mahal
Explore the city of love and longing, meticulously planned, built and nurtured by three successive Mughal emperors. Visitors to Agra are transfixed by the medieval charms retained by this city made famous by the Taj Mahal. A city where forts, museums and monuments blend harmoniously with their surrounding nature. Step into the Mehtab Bagh, a beautifully laid out garden on the other side of the Yamuna to be wowed by another spectacular view. Some say its the most memorable view of the Taj.

Days 6 - 7
Ramathra Fort - experience rural India
Journey into life in pastoral India. Situated on a hilltop, Ramathra Fort offers spectacular views of Kalisil Lake, its surrounding hills and countryside. Its natural surroudings and tranquil atmosphere are what guests enjoy the most. The fort has a lake nearby where you can take a boat ride or enjoy a picnic. Early mornings are excellent for a nature walk in the forest that surrounds the fort. It is a wonderful hike where you can see many bird species and if lucky a hyena or even a leopard.

Days 8 - 10
Ranthambhore Kothi - tiger safari
Experience adventures of nature, grandeur of heritage and an insight of the local lifestyle. Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve is divided into 10 zones, all of which can be explored by visitors. Safaris not only look for the Bengal tiger but also other denizens of this forest such as leopard, jungle cat, golden jackal, sloth bear, Indian gazelle, Sambar deer and spotted deer. There is also the chance to visit the Dastakar, an empowerment organisation that produces textiles and crafts handmade by village women.

Days 11 - 12
Taj Jai Mahal Palace - explore Jaipur
Jaipur, India’s famed pink city, with its many historic forts and palaces. Visit the old city market, the City palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Further afield is Amer Fort and a farm on the outskirts of the Amer called Dera Amer. Here there is a socially responsible organised elephant interaction where you can bathe and feed these gentle giants and learn about their history. Explore the arts and crafts of the city including block printing, tie and dye, blue pottery and jewellery making.
